If you’re flying into London Gatwick, chances are you are going to be spending some time in England’s finest city: London. While it would be impossible to cover all of the activities you can enjoy while there, if you only have a few hours to kill and regular tourist attractions aren’t for you, you may want to check out a Jack the Ripper tour. Jack the Ripper was a notorious unidentified serial killer that used to roam the streets of London. Although, it’s nothing to worry about now considering whoever Jack the Ripper was, he died about 100 years ago!

The story of Jack the Ripper continued to grow as more and more people were being killed and the killer couldn’t be found. Allegedly, Jack the Ripper wrote a letter to the local paper claiming that he, the author, was actually the killer. Whether the letter was a hoax still remains to be seen, but it is certain that the release of the letter drew even more curiosity to the story. If this type of murder mystery seems like your thing, there are plenty of ghost and horror tours in downtown London. Many of them can be found down side streets and alleys in and around the London Bridge area. Prices vary but if you’ve got young ones with you that are tired of looking at historical monuments, these tours are worth every penny.
