Earlier this month, my friend and I went to London for five days. The reason that I decided to go to London with this specific friend is because he enjoys travelling just as much as I do, so I knew that we would have a really good time in London together. I don’t like travelling with people who don’t want to do as much as possible during a trip, but I knew this wouldn’t be an issue with this specific friend.

When we arrived in London, our flight actually arrived at Gatwick airport. Although I had been to London once before, I had not been to Gatwick airport. I wasn’t completely sure what to expect out of Gatwick airport, but it turned out to be a nice place. Since we were so exhausted from our flight, the first thing that we did when we got off of the plane was to get a coffee. After we had drank our coffee and stretched our legs, we picked up our Gatwick airport car hire, which was a stress free experience.

I think our time in Gatwick airport set the tone for the rest of our trip, because I couldn’t have been happier with the time I got to spend in London. As I had expected, my friend was all about making the most of the five days that we had in London, and that is exactly what we did together. This was the first time that I had gone on a trip with this specific friend, but because the two of us got along so well, I really hope we get to take another trip together in the future!
